Job description:
CareProvide is looking for competent, caring and compassionate Personal Support Workers (PSW) to become a member of our team and contribute to our mission of providing specialized, quality care to clients across Ontario. CareProvide PSWs offer a range of medical services that help seniors and injured individuals settle down or heal in the privacy of their own homes.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Comprehensive Assistance of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Shower and Personal Hygiene Management
• Mobility Assistance & Simple Exercises
• Personal Care Assistance
• Certified Medication Assistance
• Hoyer Lift Transfer
• Alzheimer’s Care
• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Hospice and palliative support

 

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a PSW
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
• Clean Vulnerable Sector Check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with seniors and/or individuals with disabilities
• Ability to perform the essential duties of the job, which may include lifting, transferring, and assisting clients with mobility
