A Warehouse Shipper/Receiver is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, picking, and shipping products while maintaining accurate inventory records and a safe, organized warehouse.

Position: Warehouse Shipper/Receiver

Job Summary:
The Warehouse Shipper/Receiver is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of goods. This role involves loading and unloading deliveries, verifying inventory, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders.
Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies.
Accurately organize, and store inventory in designated locations.
Pick, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, forklifts, or other warehouse equipment (where certified).
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or manual logs.
Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts.
Ensure all shipping documentation is complete and accurate.
Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
Follow company policies and health and safety procedures.
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Fluent In Mandarin and Cantonese

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience is an asset.
Forklift certification is an asset (or willingness to obtain certification).
Basic computer and inventory management skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) boxes regularly.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with below freezing temperatures.
Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of shipping carriers and documentation.
Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
Commitment to workplace safety and accuracy.
Strong route planning skills for delivery drivers.
