About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven North America Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales of various plastic processing equipment, related aftermarket services, and our exclusive Advanced Metals technology offering across the region.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role for a sales professional who understands plastic processing technologies and knows how to close deals in a competitive B2B environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end sales of ISBM, IBM, EBM and their relative tooling and support equipment for plastic processing solutions, aftermarket services and spare parts, and exclusive Advanced Metals technology solutions across North America (Canada, U.S., and Mexico).
Develop and execute territory sales plans to meet or exceed revenue and margin targets across food & beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and non-food applications.
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with OEMs, converters, and end-users.
Manage and grow relationships with existing customers; act as their trusted technical and commercial advisor.
Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiated contracts; lead pricing and commercial terms discussions.
Travel regularly to customer sites, trade shows, and industry events in the U.S., Mexico, and Asia.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and service teams to align solutions with customer requirements.
Track pipeline activity in the CRM and provide accurate forecasting and reporting to leadership.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategy.
Required Qualifications
Must be a Canadian citizen or hold legal status for employment in Canada.
5+ years of B2B sales experience selling plastic processing equipment and services, with demonstrated hands-on knowledge of one or more of the following technologies:
IBM — Injection Blow Molding
ISBM — Injection Stretch Blow Molding
EBM — Extrusion Blow Molding
Other plastic processing equipment (injection molding, extrusion, tooling, automation, etc.)
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical/capital equipment environment.
Strong understanding of general-purpose container packaging and their applications across food & beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and non-food sectors.
Willingness and ability to travel internationally to the United States, Mexico, and Asia (valid passport required; ability to travel without restriction to these regions).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently in a hybrid setup.
Preferred Qualifications
Spanish or Mandarin language skills are a strong plus for serving Mexico and Asia markets.
Existing customer network in the IBM, ISBM, EBM plastics packaging industry across North America.
Experience selling into the food & beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, or non-food packaging sectors.
Technical degree or diploma in mechanical engineering, plastics technology, or a related field.
Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales forecasting tools.
